Vettano is operated by Vettano Interactive (“Vettano”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect while you play the Vettano alpha, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what the game actually needs.

01 Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run your account and the game:

Account data — the email address and username you register with, and an encrypted password.
Gameplay data — matches played, scores, rank, in-game progression, and the drawings and guesses you submit during rounds.
Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and basic diagnostics we use to keep the service stable and secure.
Communications — messages you send us through support channels.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal data. Please don't include it in drawings, usernames, or messages.

02 How we use your data

To create and operate your account and let you play, match, and rank.
To run matchmaking, scoring, leaderboards, and anti-cheat / fair-play enforcement.
To keep the service secure, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
To respond to your support requests and send essential service notices.
To understand which features are used so we can improve the alpha.

03 Cookies & local storage

The landing site and game use only the storage they need to function — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering display preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the landing site. Where required, we collect privacy-respecting, aggregated usage metrics to improve the product.

05 Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. Because Vettano is in alpha, progression and game data may be reset between development phases. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

06 Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

07 Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us and we'll help.

08 Children

Vettano is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

09 International transfers

Vettano runs on infrastructure in multiple regions, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards to protect it.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. We'll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice in-product or by email.
